Therefore the corporate purchasing organisation in Europe is looking for a strong personality with high communication capabilities, self-motivated and reliable to suppliers and internal customers.

Mission
.

	Responsible for managing category spend for various European locations
	Effectively manage the procurement process and work with business unit teams
	Work with Non Metals team and vendors, focusing on Procurement Excellence
	Create technical roadmap utilizing procurement excellence for each spend category
	Identify preferred suppliers, negotiate and manage contracts, build relationships
	Lead cross-functional supplier evaluations and resolve supplier performance issues
	Perform primarily technical buying activities
	You report directly to the Head of Corporate Purchasing.

Requirements
.

	Higher degree (diploma or master) in business administration, engineering or other degree, CPM or APICS certification desirable
	Min. of 7 years of professional experience mainly in Global sourcing, Target Costing and functional specifications, contract or category management
	Distinct interpersonal, communications and team leadership skills.
	Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functional
	Experienced in managing in a matrix organized environment
	English and German fluently
	Willingness to travel approx. 25-50%
