Purchasing has a strong position and standing within the Group, and is focused on providing substantial value and effective Change to the business.

Mission

	Establish an effective buying strategy for each Raw Material groups and drive for results
	Responsible of a portfolio 90 M€ budget spent on 2008 (Vegetable Fats = 60 M€ / Milk Ingredients = 30 M€)
	Analysis of the needs with his technical expert, the knowledge of the cost structure of the industry and of the market players.
	Develop an understanding of commodity markets.
	Manage the supplier relationship and ensure value for money
	Define and negotiate the Supply agreement for all Raw Material purchased.
	Ensure compliance with the Supply agreement (Price/cost & service levels)
	Elaborate and put in place a long term competitive sourcing strategy
	Define the most appropriate risk management strategy for each market, including hedging mechanisms where applicable, and apply it
	Animation of a network of 10 buyers accross the CBUs
	Expected reformulation productivity minimum 2% per year

Requirements
The following skills and experience are expected:

	Minimum of 4 years experience in Purchasing
	International background via education or work
	Familiar with Food Industry
	Good understanding of business, business strategy, and business processes
	Excellent communication and negotiation skills
	Ability to drive people and teams, to innovate, and to adapt to new circumstances
	Capacity to develop a network
	Fluent English & French
